I was commissioned to produce a series of themed graphic banners and informational pull ups to be housed in Bradgate Chapel, in Bradgate House, the former home of Lady Jane Grey the nine day Queen of England.
The house, whose ruins surround the chapel, was built between 1501 and 1520. The Chapel remains in tact and water tight although the roof was replaced at a later date to maintain the integrity of the building. It houses the tomb and remains of Baron Henry Grey and his wife Anne Windsor and is encased with an ornate alabaster tomb. It was intended that although not authentic that the banners would bring to life the decoration and tapestry of the time, and extend the use of the Chapel to school groups and other visitor with some interpretive informational displays.
